Attendance Calculator

Check your attendance percentage, find out how many classes you must attend to reach your target (like 75%), and how many classes you can safely miss.

Please check your numbers: attended cannot be more than total, and the target must be between 1 and 100.

How attendance is calculated

Attendance % = (classes attended ÷ total classes held) × 100. Example: attending 45 of 60 classes gives 45 ÷ 60 × 100 = 75%.

Classes needed to reach a target: if you attend every coming class, the number needed is (target × total − attended) ÷ (1 − target). This tool does that maths for you and rounds up, because part of a class does not exist.

Classes you can miss: the largest number of future classes you can skip while staying at or above target — assuming the total keeps growing by the classes you miss.

Frequently asked questions

What happens if my attendance is below 75%?

Many colleges require 75% (sometimes 65% or 80%) to sit in exams. The exact rule is your institution's — this calculator helps you plan how to get back above your target.

How many classes do I need to attend to reach 75%?

Enter your totals above. Example: with 40 attended out of 60 (66.67%), you must attend the next 20 classes in a row to reach exactly 75%.

Does "classes you can miss" assume I attend everything else?

Yes. It is the number of classes you can skip from now on while all other classes are attended, staying at or above your target.

Is my data saved anywhere?

No. Everything is calculated in your browser.
